Mayor Bloomberg and FCRC announce 2,000 jobs for Brooklyn residents at the Barclays Center

I was hired by the Nets this past Thursday to photograph a press conference announcing 2,000 jobs for Brooklyn residents at the Barclays Center. The arena, now close to 75% complete, will host somewhere around 220 events per year. Prior to the press conference, Bruce Ratner led the mayor on a short tour of the arena, visiting a suite, and walking the concourse. Walking backwards and and making photos is never easy, but I have to say, the mayor’s security and public relations staff were a great help to me this time around. See below for a few of my photos from the event.
